TONIGHT - the TV series starts at 8 p.m.

Now THAT’S Weird the radio show has been airing now for two and a half years, and tonight is a landmark, because the Now THAT’S Weird TV show is about to begin!

Well the first four TV shows have now been recorded, and the first one (a special on UFO’s) airs tonight at 8 p.m. on Edge Media Television (Sky Channel 211).

Next week’s show is all about the mystery of 2012 and features Geoff Stray, Adrian Gilbert, Siobhan Peal and Andrew Smith.

Each show is a debate and chat show filmed in front of a live studio audience, with an update from the ATS forums by my wife Penny.

The first couple of shows were made as “pilots” and therefore have a very basic studio set, but the next set of shows, once we get a sponsor etc, will have a nice backdrop and a better dressed set lol!

I was pleased to be able to give first and second year media students at Strode College in Somerset, the opportunity to film the show and get their first CV credits for broadcast TV under the direction of their Media tutor Mell Turford.

So please spread the word and tell everyone you know that has an interest in strange phenomena, to tune in tonight (Sat July 5th) at 8 p.m.UK time to Sky Channel 211.

Feel free to copy and paste this to everyone you know!

Hope you like it!

Ross

A special show this Friday (June 27th)

Hi all

I will be hob-knobbing backstage at the Glastonbury Festival this week, so I am recording a show for broadcast on Friday which I hope you will enjoy, even though it isn’t live this week.

On the show this week I will be talking to ANN ANDREWS - mother of the “Indigo child” Jason Andrews who has claimed abduction experiences which started as and continue to this very day.

World-renowned UFO investigator visited their residence in England and left in the middle of the night to go to a nearby hotel because she was so disturbed by the continuing strange phenomena at their family home. Ann will be giving us the lowdown of what it is like being the mother of one of the most famous abductee cases in the world.

Also on the show, I will be speaking to Dr Klaus Heinneman who is being hailed as one of the world’s leading experts on the “orb phenomena”. Klaus will be in Glastonbury next month at The Prophets Conference and he will be chatting to Ross about his planned presentation and his ground-breaking research into these light anomalies.

So I hope you enjoy this weeks programme, even though you can’t interact with me live this week -it’s still a new show!

Ross

The Conference

Well, it went just brilliantly and everyone seemed to enjoy it - soit looks like the Now THAT’S Weird Conference will be an annual event!

The speakers were all great and all seemed to enjoy it as much as the audience did and we had nothing but positive comments. It was the talk of Glastonbury this morning.

Lots of people turned up on the door making the event very busy, and the Hurtaks spoke to a full house which was very encouraging as their talk was one of the highlights of the event.

One of my own favourite presentations was that of Brian Allan from Scotland, his research is very good and is parallel to my own.

One of the stars of the weekend was undoubtedly Ian R Crane who brought the house down with an emotional but powerful talk that really hit home.

Larry Warren gave a humorous but factual presentation about working at RAF Bentwaters on the nights of the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident but then also went on to describe the effect that becoming a “whistle-blower” takes on your life. One source when asked what they would do if he told the truth about the event (before he went public) allegedly just said “bullets are cheap”!

It was a long weekend and I was totally knackered by the end of it, but so pleased we did it and thanks to everyone who helped make it a massive success.

DVD’s of each talk are available by mail order at £11.95 each plus £2 postage and packing or a box set for the bargain price of £125 + £5 postage and packing. E-mail for more details to ross@nowthatsweird.co.uk

News on theTV show - I have filmed the trailers!

I started filming yesterday for my new TV series, and boy have I put on a few pounds of late lol!

They say that TV adds 10lbs to your weight, but when I looked back at the trailers for my new TV show, I had to tell the producer not to use any of the close ups lol! Not only because of the over-round face, but the bags under my eyes could hold cement! lol

Now I’m not vain by any means, I don’t care about fashion and am a scruffy bugger most of the time, but I didn’t like what I saw on the screen yesterday lol! (You’ll see for yourself later this week as the trailers start running on EMTV - Sky 211)

The producer Mel Turford and a friend of his John, did a two camera shoot out on the Somerset levels yetserday with the Tor in the background and I have to say, these guys are good, and I think we will have a great series. Although the studio crew will be between 7 & 12 people!

Exciting times ahead and I am looking forward to doing TV again after a long rest. My last TV was on the Lorraine Kelly GMTV show after filming Ghost Detectives in 2001!

Don’t forget the new series starts on Saturday July 5th at 8 p.m. on Sky Channel 211 - EMTV.

Something very weird happened the other night.....

At around 1 a.m. on Sunday morning Penny and I were awoken by a terrible screaming noise oustide, which sounded like an animal being tortured.

First thing we thought was it was a cat perhaps caught by a fox, as we live out in the country, but it wasn’t that type of sound. It was a horrible stomach-churning sound and we listened to it for quite a while but could see nothing. I have never heard anything quite like it before.

I eventually fell back to sleep, but Penny stood by the window listening, and said after about 15-20 minutes it stopped temporarily and was replaced by a low pitch humming sound, then a few minutes later the screaming sound started again.

We put it down to animals but neither of us were convinced!

Then yesterday we saw reports of a UFO sighting over Bath in the South West around the same time, and Bath is not too far from us! Now there is probably no connection whatsoever, but the timing is to say the least STRANGE!

Now THAT’S Weird!

Ross
