Russell Grant joins Glastonbury Radio at the festival!

I can now confirm that Astrologer Royal RUSSELL GRANT will be joining our Glastonbury Radio team at Glastonbury Festival this year.

Russell, who was the only astrologer Princess Diana really DID consult, will be making several special programmes for us on site and talking to performers from this year’s event at Pilton.

We already have many BIG interviews scheduled with some of the bigger and lesser known names performing, but I am really looking forward to seeing my own favourite artist BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN at the event!

We move on site in a Winnebago style trailer on Wednesday for 5 days and nights and are hoping the weather forecasts are right - as they are predicting a sunny weekend!

The 11:11 mystery

I had a very interesting guest on my show last night called Hilary Carter who spoke of her deciphering of the 11:11 codes.

Many people of late, have been writing to me saying that they are waking in the night at very unusual times like 1:11 a.m. of 11:11 p.m. and some are even looking at their mileometers in their cars to see the trip distance at 11111 miles!

I must admit this has happened to me a lot of late and last night after the show I was programming a repeat playout on the Glastonbury Radio system and the software display 1:11:11 as I had done this at precisely 11 minutes past 1 a.m. and 11 seconds! How damn weird is that, an hour after the show?

I’m not sure if Hilary’s theories are correct, but she believes this to be part of an alien or inter-dimensional binary code which is activating people all over the world ready for the forthcoming change of consciousness. See www.hilarycarter.com

It is strange that one major crop circle last year was also in “binary code”!

Today on The Feel Good Friday Radio Show

The Feel Good Friday Show is becoming really popular as people enjoy the interviews and the wide range of upbeat music getting them in the mood for the weekend ahead!

In recent weeks we have been interviewing some of the big names appearing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival and today is no different, with Rolf Harris and Status Quo’s Francis Rossi joining me on the phones.

Next Wednesday we move “on site” and there are so many performances I want to watch. Not just the legends like Bruce Springsteen, but also some of the new bands like Maura Kincaid, We Have Band and Dead Like Harry who all took part in the festival’s Emerging Talent competition!

We have a team of five on site including an official photographer and will be uploading pictures from the festival every day on our website at www.glastonburyradio.net

We have already secured interviews with many of the major artists on site and even have a few celebs visiting us in our Winnebago who aren’t performing this year!

Unconventional, moi?

I am often described in very different ways, some flattering and some not so, and because of my high profile, I am often attacked for things I am “supposed to have said or done” but haven’t! I guess it comes with the territory lol.

This week I have been referred to as “Mr Glastonbury”, “that radio bloke”, “a world leader in the research of strange phenomena” and “controversial”! Now I like that last one!

I have always been “controversial” and quite like to be, as I tend to challenge a lot of conventional thinking and force people to think a little more “outside the box” on various issues. There is nothing wrong with being a little unconventional me thinks lol!

I live in a town full of people who are “unconventional” in their thinking, the approach to life and even the way many of them dress! Perhaps that’s why I like it so much here.

Glastonbury Radio is gaining pace, seeing a weekly rise in listeners and some great new shows doing very well in the ratings!

Today I am LIVE at Midday (UK time) hosting the Moaning Old Gits Show which is always great fun and has a real cult following now. It’s NOT politically correct, it’s edgy and controversial and certainly wouldn’t get on an FM station that have to work inside of Ofcom rules lol!
